Eagles Squad Statistics

When one looks at all the US players in major pro leagues, one has to wonder why we suck so much. well obviously I have an opinion. We are coaching Northern Hemisphere style rugby. Heck, even in 7's I see the US team running into players to deliberately create a ruck.

Here is a quick look at some of the statistics* behind the Eagles 28-man squad that will head to Europe.

*Stats are hard to find for the Eagles, so don’t be surprised if some of the numbers are slightly off.

Eureka...just watched USA play Russia and they were swinging the ball wide and they were even offloading the ball in the tackle. Brilliant.
They won 40-26 For a group of pros playing in good leagues, the USA team sure doesn't like to defend. They allowed Russians back into game after being some 25 pts ahead at one stage.
